Round aluminium tube Ø45×2 mm is a versatile closed profile with a circular cross-section, made from EN AW-6060 T6 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). The tube length is 2000 mm, allowing convenient cutting to size and minimising waste in typical structural projects.
Aluminium alloy 6060 in the T6 temper (solution heat-treated and artificially aged) combines low self-weight with good rigidity and high corrosion resistance — even without additional surface treatment. The tube is supplied in a raw (non-anodised) state, so it can be freely anodised, powder-coated, or left uncoated for indoor applications.

Properties and Machining
EN AW-6060 T6 alloy is highly suitable for mechanical processing — it can be easily cut, drilled, tapped, and bent. The tube is compatible with both bolted connections and TIG/MIG welding. Thanks to the low specific weight of aluminium, finished structures are significantly lighter than their steel equivalents, resulting in lower transport costs and easier assembly.
