Rectangular aluminium tube 40×80×3 mm is a robust closed section profile with a length of 2000 mm, manufactured from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio and natural corrosion resistance, it is ideal wherever structural durability is required alongside a reduction in overall weight.
The profile's raw (non-anodised) surface allows complete freedom for further processing — it can be cut, drilled, bent, welded, and mechanically joined without any specialist preparation. It is a versatile structural element used in the construction of handrails and balusters, frameworks, supporting frames, furniture, decorative elements, as well as in modelling and DIY projects.
