Rectangular aluminium tube 40×200×3 mm is a robust closed profile with a length of 2000 mm, manufactured from EN AW-6060 T64 aluminium alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its large rectangular cross-section and 3 mm wall thickness, the profile offers excellent rigidity at a relatively low weight — just 7.58 kg per two-metre length. This makes it ideal as a structural element in lightweight aluminium constructions, frameworks, and mounting frames.
The surface of the profile is raw (non-anodised), allowing for further processing — powder coating, anodising, or leaving in its natural state. The 6060 series aluminium is characterised by high corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, and ease of mechanical processing — cutting, drilling, and bending.
