Rectangular aluminium tube 40×100×4 mm with a length of 2000 mm is a robust closed profile made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio and natural corrosion resistance, it is well suited as a load-bearing element in aluminium structures, frames, railings, and handrails.
Versatility in machining and assembly
This rectangular aluminium profile is lightweight, rigid, and easy to machine — it can be cut, drilled, bent, and joined without specialist equipment. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows further processing: powder coating, anodising, or leaving in its natural state. The rectangular cross-section provides high rigidity in the direction of the larger dimension, which is important when designing frames and load-bearing structures.
