About the product
The steel post cap with a decorative ball closes the top end of a fence post and directs water away from the outside of the section.
The internal dimension is 40 × 40 mm, the ball has a diameter of 40 mm, and the sheet thickness is 1 mm.
The post cap is made of steel, finish: bare steel (uncoated).
Selection and installation
- ✓Clean the top end of the post and check that its external dimension matches the internal dimension of the post cap.
- ✓Push the post cap onto the post until fully seated.
- ✓If there is a fixing hole in the rim, secure the post cap with a screw or rivet.
Important
The post cap fits over a post whose external dimension equals the internal dimension of the cap. If the post dimension differs, the cap will not fit snugly.
