Photovoltaic cable H1Z2Z2-K AR 6 mm2 black is a single-core solar cable with built-in protection against rodents and insects. Thanks to the anti-rodent additive (AR) in the outer sheath, the cable effectively deters mice, rats, martens and termites — the most common cause of wiring damage in ground-mounted and rooftop installations.
Why choose the AR version? PV cable damage caused by rodents is one of the most common reasons for performance drops and costly warranty claims. The AR additive cable eliminates this problem at source — the active substance is permanently embedded in the sheath, so protection works throughout the entire service life of at least 25 years.
The construction based on cross-linked halogen-free compound ensures excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone and variable weather conditions. The cable meets the requirements of EN 50618:2015 standard and can be used both indoors, on roofs and in extensive ground-mounted power plants — including direct burial.
