Description

Perforated Plate PP 29 60x120x2 mm – Galvanised Timber Connector

The perforated plate 60×120 mm is a heavy-duty timber connector designed for professional joints in timber structures. With 18 holes of 5 mm diameter evenly distributed across the plate surface, it enables both simple and complex carpentry joints — wherever the lateral faces of the connected elements lie in the same plane.

The plate is manufactured from DX51D + Z275 steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm, ensuring high mechanical load capacity and joint durability. The Z275 zinc coating (275 g/m²) provides effective corrosion protection, making the connector suitable for use in conditions of elevated humidity, typical of roof structures.

Applications

Perforated plates are widely used in timber construction — primarily for roof truss assembly, joining rafters, wall plates, sole plates and other roof framing elements. The flat form of the connector allows fixing in locations where the lateral faces of the joined beams must remain in the same plane. The versatile hole pattern provides considerable flexibility when designing joints.

Fixing

For correct installation, the use of ø4 mm ring shank nails or timber screws designed for connectors is recommended. Ring shank nails provide increased withdrawal resistance due to the annular shank profile, which is particularly important in heavily loaded structural joints.

Certificates and Standards

The product holds a Declaration of Performance, confirming compliance with the applicable requirements for structural timber connectors. It may therefore be used without restriction in professional construction projects requiring documented load-bearing parameters.
