Galvanised steel wire rope in a clear PVC sheath with an outer diameter of 5 mm and a steel core of Ø2.5 mm in a 1x19 construction. The clear PVC coating protects the core from direct contact with moisture and chemical agents while leaving the rope's natural, neutral appearance unchanged, so it blends in well with light-coloured façades, balustrades and garden structures.
1x19 construction — rigidity and load capacity
The 1x19 construction means a single strand made up of 19 wires. This arrangement provides high axial rigidity while retaining moderate flexibility. The rope holds its shape well and does not deform under load, which is important in applications requiring tension, such as guying systems, fencing or guide lines. The galvanising of the wire provides an additional layer of corrosion protection beneath the PVC sheath.
Double corrosion protection
