Construction and operating mechanism
Inside the housing there is a spring latch mechanism, visible in the photograph from the rear of the product. The steel pin moves along the slot in the housing (movement range 68 mm), and the spring maintains it in the locked position. The black foot release allows intuitive unlocking — simply press with the foot to allow the gate leaf to close freely.
