DIN 7991 mounting screw M8×40 with conical washer ø 22 mm is a complete set for professional glass mounting in stainless steel balustrades. Made from AISI 304 steel with satin finish, it ensures an aesthetic, cohesive appearance of the entire balustrade structure. The set is designed for mounting on flat surfaces — perfect for installations where glass is mounted directly to balustrade profiles or posts.
The conical washer with diameter 22/8 mm evenly distributes pressure on the glass surface, whilst the included isolating washers effectively eliminate contact between glass and steel — protecting against scratches, galvanic corrosion and point stress. The minimum required mounting hole in the glass is 12.5 mm.

Application and Installation
Set designed for mounting glass panels in stainless steel balustrades installed on flat surfaces. The countersunk head of the DIN 7991 screw sits flush within the conical washer, creating a smooth, elegant surface on the visible side. The plastic isolation sleeve passes through the hole in the glass and ensures complete material separation — eliminating the risk of thermal cracking and galvanic corrosion. Thanks to the complete set, installers do not need to select washers and isolators separately, which speeds up installation and minimises the risk of errors on site.
