Drive-on roller 60 with end cap by PSG is a steel, galvanised component mounted at the beginning of the self-supporting sliding gate rail. When closing the gate, the roller drives into the drive-on bracket fixed to the post — this allows the weight of the leaf to be distributed across a greater number of support points, and the gate is stably secured in the closed position.
The use of the drive-on roller significantly extends the service life of the gate trolleys, relieving them when the leaf is stationary. Additionally, the steel end cap (front plate) serves as protection for the rail against snow, ice and contamination — which is particularly important in harsh weather conditions.
