PINOX 5243 – anaerobic adhesive for stainless steel 10 g
PINOX 5243 is a single-component anaerobic adhesive designed specifically for bonding stainless steel components. Its formula activates upon contact with metal whilst simultaneously cutting off oxygen access, creating a permanent and durable bond that will not loosen over time. The product is ideal for mounting balustrades, stainless steel structures and anywhere reliable securing of threaded and coaxial connections is required.
Thanks to the precision applicator, the adhesive can be applied precisely where required, minimising material waste. The thixotropic liquid form prevents dripping from vertical surfaces, which is crucial for installation work at height and in hard-to-reach places.
Curing times and strength
- Stainless steel – functional strength after 12 hours, full strength after 24 hours
- Mild steel – curing time approx. 10 minutes
- Possibility of using activator to accelerate the curing process

Application recommendations
Before applying the adhesive, surfaces to be bonded must be dried and degreased, which ensures optimal adhesion and maximum bond durability. The adhesive is resistant to high temperatures — it maintains full strength in the range from −55°C to +200°C, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors, including in conditions of strong sunlight or frost.
