PFERD XF870 ceramic fibre disc 125 mm P36 – pack of 50 pcs
Description
PFERD ceramic fibre disc XF870 125 mm P36 – pack of 50 pieces

PFERD XF870 VSM Ceramics fibre disc is a professional abrasive designed for aggressive yet cool grinding of high-alloy steels, chrome-nickel alloys, titanium and bronze. The VSM ceramic corundum grain self-sharpens during operation, ensuring exceptionally high material removal rates and long service life — directly translating to reduced consumable wear and lower costs at the grinding station.
Product sold in packs of 50 pieces.
VSM ceramic grain advantages
- Self-sharpening ceramic grain — maintains sharpness throughout operation without performance degradation
- Aggressive grinding — high material removal rates in short time thanks to ceramic corundum grain properties
- Cool grinding — minimal heating of the workpiece surface, crucial for stainless steel and special alloys
- High wear resistance — extended service life compared to conventional corundum grain discs
- Flexible fibre backing — excellent conformability to workpiece shape, both flat and curved surfaces

Applications
The XF870 disc excels wherever intensive and precise metalworking is required. Thanks to its coarse P36 grit, it's ideal for applications requiring rapid material removal:
- Chamfering and edge finishing of steel components
- Removing burrs and blemishes after cutting
- Removing weld seams
- Grinding flat and curved surfaces with high flexibility
Recommended workpiece materials: high-alloy steel, chrome, chrome-nickel steel, nickel and titanium-based alloys and bronze.
