PFERD XF870 CERAMICS fibre disc is a professional abrasive with ceramic grain designed for aggressive yet cool grinding of all types of steel. The flexible fibre backing ensures excellent conformity to flat and convex surfaces, whilst the active cooling coating effectively dissipates heat — resulting in longer disc life and greater installer comfort.
Product supplied in bulk packaging of 50 pieces, making it an ideal solution for companies carrying out grinding work in series — when welding steel structures, installing photovoltaic systems or machining metal profiles.

Why choose XF870?
Ceramic grains are self-sharpening — during work, micro-fractures expose new cutting edges, allowing the disc to maintain consistent grinding performance throughout its service life. Compared to conventional abrasives with aluminium oxide grain, ceramic discs offer up to several times longer life and higher material removal at lower pressure. The active cooling coating minimises heating of the workpiece, which is particularly important when working with stainless steel, where overheating can lead to discolouration and loss of corrosion-resistant properties.
