Narrow Embossed Angle Bracket 40×40×17 mm – Timber Fixing Connector
The narrow embossed angle bracket 40×40×17 mm is a compact fixing connector designed for light joinery and furniture assembly work. Thanks to its narrow profile (17 mm), it is ideally suited for fastening to the narrow edges of boards and furniture panels. The three-dimensional embossing reinforces the bracket's structure, providing greater rigidity and load capacity compared to flat angle brackets.
The bracket is manufactured from DX51D steel with corrosion protection in the form of gold electro-galvanised zinc coating. The zinc layer protects the component against corrosion and gives it an attractive warm tone that complements the natural colours of wood. Four mounting holes with a diameter of ø4.5 mm, two on each flange, allow for quick and secure fastening using nails or screws.

Application and Installation
The bracket is intended for carpentry joints and connections in furniture and timber structures. Its narrow profile allows it to be used wherever standard angle brackets will not fit on the edge of a board or panel. The following fasteners are recommended for installation:
- Ring shank nails ø4 mm
- Timber connector screws
- Hardened screws
Selecting the appropriate type of mechanical fastener is essential to fully utilise the declared load capacity of 3.33 kN. Ring shank nails provide the best grip in solid timber, whilst timber connector screws perform well in both solid wood and wood-based materials.
