Mounting Rail 16-18 mm is a tried-and-tested pipe-routing component for underfloor and wall heating systems. Thanks to precision clips sized for pipes with a diameter of 16-18 mm, laying heating loops becomes faster and more consistent — regardless of the installation team's level of experience.
How does it work? Simply press the pipe into the snap-fit clip — flexible tabs lock it securely in position without the need for additional fasteners. The fixed clip spacing ensures even gaps between loops, resulting in uniform heat distribution across the entire floor surface.
Practical delivery format
The rail is supplied in 1000 mm lengths, each consisting of two 500 mm segments joined by a flexible hinge. This design makes transport, storage and length adjustment straightforward — simply cut or snap off any excess to suit the specific room.
Mounting holes spaced along the rail allow quick fixing to the substrate using plugs or screws. The rail is compatible with both insulation boards and concrete screeds, making it suitable for a wide range of floor build-up configurations.
Durable material
The rail is manufactured from high-impact polypropylene, resistant to the mechanical loads encountered during screed pouring. It does not deform under pressure and retains its flexibility even at the lower temperatures typical of construction sites.
