Locinox MAMMOTH180-2 is a professional hydraulic self-closing hinge designed for garden gates weighing up to 150 kg and up to 1500 mm wide. Thanks to a 180° opening angle and the Quick-Fix system, installation time is reduced to a minimum — the product is fixed directly to the post and gate frame without the need for welding.
The hydraulic self-closer ensures controlled, quiet closing of the gate in all weather conditions. Adjustable closing speed allows the operation to be tailored to the specific site — from residential estates to pool enclosures requiring mandatory self-closing. The compact construction, made from high-quality materials, guarantees years of trouble-free outdoor use.
Versatile applications
The MAMMOTH180-2 works well on posts of various profiles — square, rectangular and round. The set, consisting of a self-closer (upper part) and a hinge (lower part), supports a wide range of fence gate constructions: metal gates, panel gates, mesh gates, glass gates and picket-infill gates.
Dimensions and installation
The Quick-Fix mounting system uses 8 holes with a diameter of Ø15 mm, arranged symmetrically on both leaves (post side and gate frame side). A distance of 25 mm must be maintained between the hole axes and the edge of the post, and 25 mm from the edge of the gate frame.
