Kozza KE 105 is a chambered L-type aluminium profile designed for building all-glass balustrades. It has been developed in accordance with architects' requirements and performs well in both residential spaces and large commercial buildings — hotels, shopping centres and office buildings. Thanks to longitudinal mounting from above, the profile is installed directly on the edge of a floor slab or parapet, creating a minimalist, almost invisible glass mounting line.
The flat system combined with matt anodising guarantees modern, understated aesthetics — the profile does not dominate visually, and the glass panel becomes the main element of the balustrade. The universal glass thickness range from 12 to 21.52 mm allows flexible selection of glass panels to meet the static and design requirements of each project.

Mounting holes

The profile has 17 mounting holes distributed along its entire length. The through holes have a diameter of Ø 12 mm, and the countersinks — Ø 29 mm. The axial spacing between holes is 300 mm, with an edge distance of 100 mm from each end of the profile. This arrangement ensures even load distribution and quick installation with mechanical or chemical anchors.
Glass compatibility

The KE 105 profile works with three glass thickness ranges, enabling adaptation to various static and design requirements:
- Glass 12–13.52 mm — standard toughened and laminated panels
- Glass 16–17.52 mm — laminated safety glass (e.g. 2×8 mm + PVB film)
- Glass 20–21.52 mm — thick laminated panels for applications with enhanced strength requirements (e.g. 2×10 mm + PVB film)
Anchoring methods

The Kozza KE 105 system offers flexibility in choosing the anchoring method. Depending on the substrate and structural requirements, the profile can be fixed using different types of anchors — mechanical or chemical. The illustration shows three variants of profile installation in concrete, allowing the installer to select the optimal solution for the given type of construction.
Load resistance — test results

The KE 105 profile with laminated glass 10+10+1.52 mm at a height of 1.0 m achieves a maximum wind load of 2.65 kN/m² and maximum impact resistance of 1.35 kN/m. Numerical analysis (FEM) confirms minimal displacement values even under extreme horizontal loads below 500 kg (5000 N) per metre of profile base length.
