Corner U profile type KE 100 by Kozza is an element designed for closing external 90° corners in all-glass balustrades mounted from above. Symmetrical arms of 197 mm length ensure precise connection of two glass panels at a right angle — without steps and gaps, maintaining a uniform profile line and glass panel in one plane.
The profile is made from EN AW 6063 aluminium — an alloy with a favourable mass-to-stiffness ratio, resistant to corrosion with appropriate surface finishing. Dark grey painting in colour RAL 7021 harmonises perfectly with modern aluminium joinery, architectural concrete facades and timber finishes, meeting both technical requirements and high aesthetic expectations of designers and investors.
Construction and installation
The corner is fully compatible with linear U profiles of KE 100 series and with dedicated sets of gaskets and wedges for laminated glass — allowing the entire system to be completed in one standard. Top mounting allows for convenient work on finished flooring, which is particularly important in modernisation and renovation projects where the substrate is already finished. Profile height 110 mm corresponds to the height of other elements of the KE 100 system, ensuring visual consistency and repeatable load capacity along the entire balustrade run.
