Description
Galvanised turnbuckle M14×140 mm – hook–eye, DIN 1480
Forged hook-eye turnbuckle M14 compliant with DIN 1480 is a durable tensioning component designed for adjusting the tension of steel wire ropes, chains and tie rods. Made of low-alloy structural steel C15 and protected with an electro-galvanised zinc coating, it provides effective protection against corrosion in outdoor conditions. The hook-eye end allows quick connection to various types of fittings — the hook enables easy attachment and detachment of the rope, while the eye provides a fixed, secure connection, e.g. to a shackle or pin. The forged body construction ensures high mechanical strength — the minimum breaking force is 10.02 kN (approx. 1022 kg), as confirmed by the manufacturer's data sheet. The dimensional tolerance is ±5% in accordance with the documentation.
