Galvanised steel wire rope 6×37 Ø14.0 mm with fibre core FC

Galvanised steel wire rope Ø14.0 mm in a 6×37 construction (six strands of thirty-seven wires each) with a fibre core (FC) — the most flexible of the classic wire ropes, ideal for running over sheaves and winch drums. The high flexibility resulting from the large number of wires in each strand makes the rope easy to handle even on small sheave diameters, making it the first choice for hoisting and lifting systems.

The wires are manufactured in tensile strength grade 1770 N/mm², and the whole rope is protected against corrosion with a zinc (Zn) coating, ensuring long-lasting protection against corrosion in outdoor conditions. The rope is intended solely for technical applications — it is not intended for lifting persons. Manufactured in the European Union.

Construction and technical parameters

The 6×37 construction with a fibre core FC provides exceptional rope flexibility. The fibre core acts as a cushion, increasing bending flexibility and making it easier to run over pulley blocks and winch drums. Each of the six strands consists of 37 thin wires, which — compared to 6×19 ropes — significantly increases flexibility at a comparable load capacity.

Sales and delivery form

The rope is sold by the running metre — the ordered length is delivered in one continuous section. The factory reel has a length of 50 m — when ordering 50 m, you receive a full, originally packaged reel.

Wire rope cut to length – important information before you buy

This wire rope is sold by the metre: we cut it from the reel or coil to exactly the length stated in your order, so you only pay for what you actually need. A length cut to your specification is a made-to-order item and therefore cannot be returned – including under the right to cancel distance contracts. Before placing your order, please check the required length and diameter carefully.
