Galvanised steel wire rope Ø3.0 mm in a 6×7 construction (six strands of seven wires) with a fibre core (FC) — a universal, moderately flexible technical rope designed for fencing, guy wires, suspensions and general household and construction applications. The wires, made in tensile strength class 1770 N/mm², provide high load capacity with a relatively small diameter, while the zinc coating effectively protects the rope against corrosion in outdoor conditions.

The product is sold by the running metre — the price given applies to 1 metre, and the ordered length is delivered in a single piece. The rope is factory-wound onto a reel of 200 m — when ordering 200 m, you receive a full, originally packaged reel.

Construction and application

The 6×7 construction consists of six strands, each containing seven wires wound around a central fibre core (FC). The fibre core provides moderate flexibility to the rope and makes it easier to guide through pulleys and connecting elements. This structure makes the rope well suited as a guy wire, fencing or suspension element — wherever robustness combined with ease of handling on the construction site is required.

A length cut to your specification is a made-to-order item and therefore cannot be returned – including under the right to cancel distance contracts. Before placing your order, please check the required length and diameter carefully.
