Description
Galvanised Wire Rope Grip 14 mm – DIN 741 Equivalent

DIN 741 wire rope grip designed for clamping steel wire ropes with a diameter of 14 mm. The component consists of a U-shaped bolt, a body (saddle) and two clamping nuts. The design, compliant with the DIN 741 standard, ensures secure formation of loops and rope terminations in industrial, construction and transport installations. The U-bolt and nuts are made of C15 steel, and the body of cast iron — the whole is protected with a zinc coating, which protects against corrosion in outdoor conditions. The manufacturer recommends using a minimum of 5 grips per loop, with a spacing between them in the range of 34.5–69 mm, which guarantees correct load transfer and connection safety.
Advantages of the DIN 741 wire rope grip
- Compliance with the DIN 741 standard — a proven standard in rope fittings
- The galvanised coating provides corrosion protection for outdoor use in damp and industrial conditions
- The simple U-bolt design allows assembly and disassembly without specialist tools
- The cast iron body ensures saddle rigidity and even distribution of pressure on the rope
- Single-unit sales allow you to select the exact number of grips for your specific project

The technical drawing shows the grip dimension designations: A — thread spacing (U-bolt width), B — overall height of the grip, C — body (saddle) width. These dimensions allow you to select the appropriate grip for the rope cross-section and to plan the installation space on the loop.
