Description
Galvanised Turnbuckle M24×255 mm – Hook-Eye, DIN 1480
The hook-eye turnbuckle is a forged tensioning screw designed for adjusting the tension of steel wire ropes, chains and tie rods. The hook-eye end combines two types of fixing in a single component – the hook allows the rope to be attached and detached quickly without undoing the connection, while the eye provides a permanent, closed attachment, e.g. to a shackle or anchor. Thanks to its forged low-alloy steel construction and galvanised coating, the turnbuckle retains full corrosion resistance even in demanding outdoor conditions – on building sites, in guy-wire installations or in the rigging of steel structures. The high breaking force guarantees the load capacity required in professional assembly and installation applications.

The turnbuckle body has an open frame with two threaded rods with opposite-hand threads, which allows smooth length adjustment by turning the central body. The technical drawing shows the key dimensions: L – overall length, L1 – threaded arm length, E – hook opening, d – thread diameter, Ø – eye diameter. This makes it possible to select the turnbuckle precisely for a specific rope arrangement and load.
