Description
Structural wood screw 5×60 mm, countersunk head, Torx-25, pack of 250 pcs,
Structural wood screw 5×60 mm with a Torx-25 drive and countersunk head – a versatile fastener designed for carpentry joints in timber structures. Made of low-carbon steel with an electro-galvanised zinc coating that protects against corrosion in typical installation conditions. The countersunk head allows the screw to be sunk below the surface of the timber, giving the joint a neat and safe finish.

Design and Torx-25 drive
The Torx-25 drive ensures a secure fit of the driver bit and minimises the risk of the bit slipping during driving, which is particularly important when working with hard structural timber. The screw has milled (serrated) ribs under the head that make it easier to countersink the head into the material, and a Type-17 point with a notch on the thread, which makes it easier to start driving the screw without the need to drill a pilot hole in softwood.
The commercial pack contains 250 pieces, which makes it convenient to plan a stock of material for a specific installation job.

Applications
- Joining roof truss elements
- Installing battens and counter battens
- Fixing facade and decking boards
- Floor and timber-frame structures
- Joinery and carpentry work requiring a durable connection of timber elements

Technical drawing
The technical drawings show the geometry of the countersunk head, shank and thread of the carpentry screw, as well as size selection tables for the whole screw family – from 3 mm to 10 mm diameter. This makes it easy to choose the right size for a specific structural application.

Thread length table
The drawing above includes a table of thread lengths depending on the diameter and length of the screw for the entire series of carpentry screws. This helps designers and installers select the right variant for the required embedment depth in timber.
