Galvanised Steel Wire Rope Ø6.0 mm 6×19 with Fibre Core FC – Sold by the Metre

Galvanised steel wire rope Ø6.0 mm in 6×19 construction with a fibre core (FC) — soft, flexible and offering high load capacity. The six-strand design (six strands of nineteen wires each, arranged in layers of 1+6+12) provides excellent flexibility, allowing the rope to wind easily onto winch drums and pass over guide pulleys without excessive stress. The wires are made to a tensile strength grade of 1770 N/mm², and the entire rope is protected against corrosion with a zinc (Zn) coating, enabling use in damp conditions and outdoors.

This product is sold by the linear metre — the ordered length is supplied as a single continuous piece. The rope is factory-wound onto a 100 m reel; ordering 100 m gives you a full, originally packaged reel. Manufactured in the European Union.

The designation 6×19 describes the rope's construction: 6 strands, each made up of 19 wires arranged in layers of 1+6+12 around a central wire. The strands are wound around a fibre core (FC — Fibre Core), which gives the rope its softness and flexibility. This construction ensures good handling properties while maintaining high breaking strength.

This wire rope is sold by the metre: we cut it from the reel or coil to exactly the length stated in your order, so you only pay for what you actually need. A length cut to your specification is a made-to-order item and therefore cannot be returned – including under the right to cancel distance contracts. Before placing your order, please check the required length and diameter carefully.
