Description
Galvanised Steel Wire Rope Ø16.0 mm 6×37 with Fibre Core FC

Galvanised steel wire rope Ø16.0 mm in 6×37 construction with fibre core (FC) — a classic six-strand rope distinguished by the highest flexibility in its class. Six strands of thirty-seven wires each provide excellent flexibility, allowing the rope to run smoothly over pulleys and winch drums. The wires are manufactured to tensile strength class 1770 N/mm², and the zinc (Zn) coating provides effective corrosion protection. The product bears the CE mark and is manufactured in the European Union.
The rope is sold by the linear metre — the ordered length is delivered as a single piece. The rope is factory-wound onto a reel of 50 lm; when ordering 50 lm, you receive a complete, originally packaged reel.
Applications
The 6×37 construction with fibre core (FC) performs well wherever rope flexibility and operation on pulleys with relatively small diameters are essential:
- Winches and hoists
- Davits and pulley systems
- Automotive and transport
- General technical applications requiring a flexible steel wire rope
