Description
Galvanised Steel Wire Rope Ø11.0 mm 6×37 with Fibre Core FC

Galvanised steel wire rope Ø11.0 mm with 6×37 construction (six strands of thirty-seven wires each) and a fibre core (FC) — the most flexible of the classic wire ropes. Thanks to the high number of thin wires in each strand, the rope runs easily over sheaves and drums, making it the optimal choice for applications requiring flexibility while maintaining high strength.
Wires manufactured in tensile strength class 1770 N/mm², protected against corrosion with a zinc coating (Zn). Technical rope — not intended for lifting persons. Manufactured in the European Union.

6×37 construction with FC core
The six-strand 6×37 construction is a classic arrangement in which six strands, each made up of 37 wires, are wound around a central core of natural or synthetic fibre (FC — Fibre Core). The fibre core provides internal lubrication of the rope and increases its flexibility compared to ropes with a steel core. This design makes the rope flexible and resistant to material fatigue during repeated winding.
Typical applications
- Winches and davits
- Pulley systems
- Automotive and transport
- Anywhere high rope flexibility is required
