Description
Forged hook-hook turnbuckle 14x140 DIN1480

Forged hook-hook turnbuckle is a durable piece of rigging hardware designed for tensioning steel wire ropes, mast guy wires and chains. The forged hook-hook ends allow quick and secure attachment to links, slings and other rigging components, with no need for additional connectors. The turnbuckle body allows smooth adjustment of tension by rotating the central sleeve, enabling precise tensioning of ropes and guy wires without dismantling the entire assembly. The galvanised coating protects the component against corrosion when exposed to outdoor conditions, making the turnbuckle suitable for long-term use in the open air.
Applications and advantages
- Tensioning steel wire ropes, mast guy wires and rope-based structural restraints
- Forged hook-hook ends allow quick attachment without additional connectors
- Working length adjustment by rotating the central sleeve – precise tension setting
- Galvanised coating protects the component when exposed to outdoor conditions
- Compliance with the DIN 1480 standard ensures repeatable dimensions and compatibility with other manufacturers' hardware

The technical drawing shows the key dimensions of the turnbuckle: L – overall length, L₁ – length of the threaded part of the arm, E – internal hook opening and d – nominal thread diameter.
