Description
Forged eye-eye turnbuckle 16x170 DIN1480

Forged eye-eye turnbuckle M16x170 is a durable piece of rope rigging hardware made in accordance with DIN 1480. The design with two eye ends allows ropes, chains and other connecting elements to be attached quickly using shackles or pins. The turnbuckle body is forged, which ensures high material uniformity and mechanical strength. The minimum breaking force is 58.53 kN. It is made entirely of C15 steel with an electro-galvanised coating that protects against corrosion in outdoor conditions. The dimensional tolerance is ±5%, in accordance with the manufacturer's technical data sheet.
Advantages of the DIN 1480 eye-eye turnbuckle
- Forged construction providing high strength and dimensional repeatability
- Eye-eye ends allow universal connection with shackles, pins and wire rope thimbles
- Rope or guy line tension is adjusted by turning the body, without disconnecting the ends
- Electro-galvanised coating protects the steel against corrosion in outdoor applications
- Compliance with DIN 1480 guarantees interchangeability with other rope rigging components

The turnbuckle is used for precise tension adjustment of steel wire ropes, guy lines, barriers and tensioned structures. By turning the body, the installer can smoothly lengthen or shorten the connection without having to disconnect the ends. Thanks to the eye-eye ends, the product is compatible with shackles, wire rope thimbles and other rope rigging components. It is well suited to industrial installations, construction, fence tensioning, mast guy lines and anywhere else that controlled tension adjustment is required.
