Eye hook with safety catch 5000 kg – galvanised and painted C45 steel
HUZ5000 is a professional Eye hook with safety catch (spring latch) designed for use with wire ropes and chain slings. Made of C45 steel and protected by a double coating of zinc plating + RAL 3020 powder coating (red), it offers high mechanical strength and effective corrosion protection, even in demanding outdoor conditions. The working load limit (WLL) is 5000 kg (5 t) and the breaking force reaches 245.1 kN, giving a high safety factor. The factory-fitted safety catch (spring latch) prevents the load from slipping uncontrollably out of the hook throat, which is an important feature in lifting and transport work where compliance with health and safety regulations is required.

The HUZ series hook is designed for use in construction, transport and industry, wherever secure and safe suspension of loads weighing up to 5 tonnes is required. The eye allows connection to a shackle, a link or directly to a rope by means of a splice. The dimensional drawing with letter markings (Q, O, C, A, J, T, G, M, B) makes it easier to check compatibility with the other sling components before ordering.
The manufacturer's technical data sheet (control test 8/DRO) confirms the strength parameters of the entire HUZ series — from 0.5 T to 5 T. For the 5 T variant the dimensions are: B = 51 mm, E = 42 mm, R = 187 mm, weight 3.26 kg, rated load 5,000 kg, breaking load 24,510 kg. Material: C45, coating: zinc plating + paint. Dimensional tolerance: ±5%.
The clear embossed WLL 5 TON marking on the hook body allows quick identification of the lifting capacity without having to consult the documentation. This is important on large building sites, where equipment of different sizes is in use at the same time and must be easy to tell apart visually.
