Eaton HNB-B16/1N/003 is a compact residual current circuit breaker with a built-in overcurrent protection module from the xPole Home series, combining overcurrent protection and residual current protection in a single device. This means it takes up less space in the switchboard than a classic set of a separate circuit breaker and residual current device — which is particularly important where installation space in residential switchboards is limited.
The B tripping characteristic ensures fast disconnection in the event of short circuits typical of lighting and socket circuits, while the 30 mA residual sensitivity guarantees effective protection against electric shock for people. The AC tripping type responds to sinusoidal residual currents — suitable for standard installations without appliances generating pulsating leakage currents.
