Installation recommendations
The mounting hole should be drilled perpendicular to the substrate surface and thoroughly cleaned of drilling dust. The anchor is inserted into the hole using light hammer taps. Tighten the nut only with a torque wrench – this ensures proper expansion of the sleeve and full load capacity of the fastener. After expansion, the washer under the nut should be firmly pressed against the fixed element. Detailed parameters regarding loads, spacing and edge distances can be found in Technical Approval AT-15-7574/2008 – the limit values contained therein should not be exceeded.
