Carriage – design and operation
The carriage is fitted with 5 metal rollers, including 1 horizontal roller, which ensure stable guidance of the gate along the track. It has a pivoting design – the carriage is connected to the base by a pin, so it adjusts automatically to the sliding gate, compensating for any unevenness and deviations in the track. The carriage height is adjustable with bolts, which makes it easier to set the gate precisely during installation.

End wheel with protective cap
A steel end wheel fitted at the start of the cantilever sliding gate track. Equipped with a protective cap that prevents snow, ice and debris from getting inside the track – particularly important for installations used in harsh weather conditions. Mounting bolts are included.

Steel gate catcher
The gate catcher is fixed to the gate post, and the end wheel runs into it as the gate closes. With this solution, the weight of the gate is spread across more components, which stabilises the gate in the closed position and significantly extends the service life of the carriages. The back plate has 2 mounting holes and a rubber stop that absorbs impact.

Selecting the carriage centre spacing
The correct carriage spacing (LW) depends on the clear gate opening length (L) and the gate weight (P). The table below shows the recommended carriage spacing values in metres, ensuring optimal operation and durability of the system:
- Gate weight 200 kg: spacing from 1.00 m (L=3.0 m) to 1.65 m (L=5.0 m)
- Gate weight 225 kg: spacing from 1.10 m (L=3.0 m) to 1.90 m (L=5.0 m)
- Gate weight 250 kg: spacing from 1.30 m (L=3.0 m) to 2.10 m (L=5.0 m)
- Gate weight 275 kg: spacing from 1.40 m (L=3.0 m) to 2.30 m (L=5.0 m)
- Gate weight 300 kg: spacing from 1.60 m (L=3.0 m) to 2.50 m (L=5.0 m)
Clear gate opening lengths covered by the table: 3.0 m, 3.5 m, 4.0 m, 4.5 m and 5.0 m.
All components in the kit are electro-galvanised, providing effective corrosion protection and long service life in both indoor installations and those exposed to changeable weather.
