U-channel connector for fence footing is a robust mounting element designed for permanent connection of concrete footing slabs to fence posts. It has been designed specifically for footings measuring 250 × 50 mm, ensuring precise fit and stable slab positioning in all conditions.
The product is made from galvanised steel coated with powder paint in anthracite RAL 7016 colour. Double anti-corrosion protection — galvanising plus powder coating — ensures years of resistance to weather conditions, moisture and corrosion, eliminating the need for maintenance. The aesthetic finish harmoniously complements modern panel fencing.
Construction and Installation
The U-channel has a C-shaped profile in which the concrete footing slab is seated. The internal width of the profile is 52 mm, allowing easy and stable placement of a 50 mm thick slab with minimal installation clearance. The built-in 6 mm diameter crossbar serves as a locking mechanism — preventing the footing from sliding out of the holder, increasing the durability and safety of the entire structure.
Two mounting holes in the form of 6 × 12 mm slots enable quick attachment of the U-channel to the fence post. The elongated shape of the holes allows position adjustment during installation, significantly speeding up the installation team's work. The flat base of the U-channel protects the footing from mechanical damage during installation.
