Articulated handrail support rod ø 14 mm is a structural element of steel balustrades designed to connect the handrail to the post. Thanks to the built-in joint, it enables smooth adjustment of the handrail's angle of inclination, making it an ideal solution for stair balustrades where adjustment of the handrail slope to match the stair flight is required.
The element is made from AISI 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, ensuring high corrosion resistance and an elegant, understated appearance suited to modern arrangements. Stainless steel guarantees durability and ease of maintenance — both for indoor applications and on balconies or terraces.
The rod features an M8 external thread (lower part — for screwing into the post) and an M6 internal thread (upper part — for mounting the handrail bracket), ensuring universal application and compatibility with a wide range of balustrade systems.

Application and installation
The articulated handrail support rod is screwed into the balustrade post using the M8 thread, and the handrail bracket is mounted into the upper M6 internal thread. The joint mechanism enables setting the appropriate handrail angle after installation, which significantly facilitates mounting on stairs with varying inclinations. This means one element covers many stair geometry variants — reducing the number of stock items and accelerating order fulfilment.
