Description
Aluminium ferrule for 2 mm steel wire ropes – EN 13411-3

GMTA aluminium ferrule for swaging steel wire ropes, manufactured in accordance with EN 13411-3. The GMTA aluminium sleeve is used to form permanent eyes and loops at the ends of steel wire ropes — it is a basic component in the production of wire rope slings and wherever a reliable rope termination is required. Thanks to the use of aluminium, the ferrule is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to process with a standard swaging press. The compact design of the sleeve allows precise swaging even in places with limited installation space.
Advantages of the GMTA aluminium ferrule
- The precise fit of the sleeve bore to the rope cross-section ensures a secure and repeatable swage
- Compliance with the European standard guarantees consistent strength parameters in every production batch
- Low weight makes work easier on large batches of slings — less load on the finished sling
- Aluminium requires no additional corrosion protection, which simplifies storage
- Sold as a single piece — you can order the exact quantity you need
