Description
Aluminium ferrule for 18 mm steel wire ropes – EN 13411-3

GMTA aluminium ferrule for crimping steel wire ropes with a diameter of 18 mm, manufactured in accordance with EN 13411-3. This component is designed for permanently forming loops (eyes) at the ends of ropes and for joining lengths of steel wire rope in the production of wire rope slings. Once crimped in a press, the aluminium ferrule provides a secure, repeatable connection — with no need for additional securing elements. Thanks to the use of aluminium, the ferrule is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, which makes it easier to store and to work with in changeable weather conditions. EN 13411-3 ensures compliance with European safety requirements for rope fittings used in lifting equipment, steel structures and industrial installations.
