Trapezoidal roof hook H-40 with EPDM seal is an aluminium mounting profile designed for direct fixing of photovoltaic panels on roofs covered with trapezoidal sheet metal. The appropriate profile height ensures free airflow beneath the modules, enabling natural cooling of the panels and separating them from the heated roof surface. As a result, the installation operates at a lower temperature, which translates into higher efficiency of the PV modules. The hook is made from 6060 aluminium alloy, which is characterised by high resistance to corrosion and weather conditions, good mechanical strength, and the possibility of anodising. The upper mounting channel allows mid and end clamps to be attached using hex socket bolts and square nuts — without the need for specialist hardware. Holes for the bolts fixing the hook to the roof are made directly during installation, allowing the spacing to be adjusted to the specific sheet metal profile.

Roof installation involves screwing the hook directly to the ridge of the trapezoidal sheet metal using self-drilling screws. The EPDM seal placed between the profile and the sheet metal protects the fixing point against water ingress. Once the hooks are fixed to the roof, mid or end clamps are fitted onto the upper mounting channel to hold the photovoltaic modules in place.
