Aluminium Channel 40×25×3 mm – Open C/U Profile, Length 2000 mm
Aluminium channel 40×25×3 mm is a versatile open profile with a C/U cross-section, made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, it provides a convenient structural solution wherever low weight, corrosion resistance, and ease of machining are important. The profile is suitable for cutting, drilling, bending, and joining using standard methods — without the need for specialist tools.
The channel is ideal as a guide rail, cover strip, frame or chassis element, as well as for interior finishing, furniture structures, decorative components, and model making. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows further processing — powder coating, anodising, or painting — depending on project requirements.

Material Properties of EN AW-6060 Alloy
The AlMgSi0.5 alloy in T64 temper combines good mechanical strength with high resistance to atmospheric corrosion. The profile is lightweight — weighing just 1.36 kg at two metres in length — making it easy to transport and install, especially at height. Aluminium requires no additional corrosion protection in indoor conditions, and for outdoor applications it can be protected by anodising or powder coating.
