Description
Aluminium Channel 100×50×5 mm – C/U Profile EN AW-6060 L=2000 mm

Aluminium channel 100×50×5 mm is a robust open-section profile with a channel (C/U) cross-section, manufactured from aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (PA38, AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, it is suitable wherever a lightweight yet load-bearing structure is required — from guides and frames to fascia trims, finishing elements, and decorative features.
The profile, with a length of 2000 mm, is supplied with a raw (non-anodised) surface, allowing any finishing treatment — anodising, powder coating, or leaving in its natural state. PA38 aluminium is easily cut, drilled, bent, and mechanically joined, reducing assembly time and labour costs.

Applications
The aluminium channel 100×50×5 mm is widely used in professional installation and structural projects:
- Aluminium structures — load-bearing frames, racks, supports
- Guides and rails — sliding elements, linear brackets
- Fascia and finishing strips — edge covers, surrounds
- Frames and enclosures — equipment housings, technical enclosures
- Furniture and decorative elements — shelving, tables, finishing details
- Modelling and DIY — prototypes, scale models, hobby constructions
Advantages of EN AW-6060 Alloy
The AlMgSi0.5 alloy in T64 condition combines good mechanical strength with high corrosion resistance and excellent machinability. The profile can be cut with a circular or band saw, drilled, tapped, welded by TIG/MIG, and joined with rivets and bolts — without the need for specialist tooling. The low self-weight (2.07 kg/m) facilitates transport and installation, whilst providing sufficient rigidity for typical structural applications.
The profile forms part of a range of aluminium channels — available in numerous cross-sectional size and wall thickness variants, enabling the selection of the optimum profile for any given project.
