The adjustable concrete-in post base with rod is a heavy-duty structural connector designed for setting timber posts in concrete foundations. Thanks to its smooth width adjustment, the post base fits a range of post sections, making it a versatile component on site.
The post base is made from thick steel plate and a reinforcing rod that provides a durable anchor in the concrete. Two adjustable side angle brackets with mounting holes allow precise width setting and secure fixing of the post with bolts.
The post base has a gold electro-galvanised finish, which protects against corrosion and allows use both indoors and outdoors. The adjustment elements – the side angle brackets – slide along slotted guides and are locked with bolts and nuts, so setting the width is quick and repeatable. It is sold as a complete set ready for installation – the set includes the body with reinforcing rod, two side angle brackets and fixing bolts.
