Description

The adjustable concrete-in post base with rod is a heavy-duty steel connector designed for setting timber posts in concrete foundations. Its adjustable design allows the width to be matched precisely to the cross-section of the post being installed, removing the need for multiple size variants on a single construction site.
The post base consists of two movable angle brackets mounted on a crossbar with elongated mounting slots, allowing smooth width adjustment. The ribbed rod provides a durable anchor in the concrete – the ribbing increases grip and prevents the element from rotating in the foundation.
The whole unit is made of strong sheet steel, which ensures high load capacity and a rigid connection. The electro-galvanised finish protects the post base against corrosion and gives a neat, neutral appearance suited to most projects. The angle brackets have mounting holes so the post can be fixed with screws or bolts – a solution proven in residential construction as well as in garden structures, carports and pergolas.
