The adjustable post support with plate is a steel connector designed for fixing timber posts to a concrete foundation. Smooth width adjustment allows precise fitting to different post cross-sections, making it a versatile solution on any building site — one support model is all you need instead of several size variants.
The support consists of a base plate fixed to the ground, a reinforcing pin designed to be set in the concrete foundation, and a movable U-shaped upper part with two adjustable side plates. This design provides a standoff between the post and the ground, effectively protecting the timber from moisture being drawn up from the concrete by capillary action.
The side plates have mounting holes that allow them to be fastened to the post with bolts or screws. Width is adjusted by sliding the plates along the guides of the upper platform and locking them with bolts — the installer sets the spacing on site, with no need for cutting or additional machining. The silver electro-galvanised finish provides corrosion protection suitable for outdoor use in timber structures. The support is sold as a complete set ready for installation: base plate with reinforcing pin, upper platform with guides, and two side plates with fixing bolts.
