Fastening Technology: screws, nuts, rods and anchors
This category covers fasteners and connecting elements for professional installation work. It includes screws, bolts, nuts, washers, threaded rods, timber connectors, ring anchors, ropes and chains. The range is mainly stainless steel and suits installers and builders who need matching components for roofs, structures and outdoor installations.
What you will find in this category
- Screws and bolts - hexagon head, socket head, button head and hammer head types, including DIN 933, DIN 912 and DIN 7380.
- Nuts - hexagon, square and flange nuts, for example DIN 934, DIN 557 and DIN 6923.
- Washers - flat washers, for example DIN 125, to match bolted connections.
- Threaded rods - DIN 976 rods in A2 stainless steel, supplied in 1000 mm lengths.
- Screws and Connectors for Timber Structures - fasteners for timber, including Torx wood screws for rafters.
- Ring anchors - anchoring and lifting points with a ring for attaching ropes, chains or other equipment.
- Ropes and chains - flexible connecting elements for securing, hanging and lifting.
- Rivet nuts - for creating a load-bearing thread in thin material.
How to choose
- Material: A2 (1.4301, grade 304) is the most common. A4, C1 (AISI 410) and plain steel are also available.
- Thread size: sizes run from M4 to M24. Match bolt, nut and washer to the same size, for example M10 with M10.
- Length: check the total length and the threaded part. For example, TCS M8x80/72 has a 72 mm thread.
- Standard and head type: choose by DIN and drive, for example DIN 912 socket head or a Torx head.
- Substrate: use wood screws for timber and self-drilling screws for sheet metal.
Typical applications
Many products here are used for photovoltaic mounting. Torx wood screws and double-threaded bolts fix roof hooks, adapters and triangles to timber rafters. Self-drilling screws with an EPDM washer fasten structures to trapezoidal sheet metal. Socket head screws, nuts and T-nuts join clamps to mounting profiles.
Frequently asked questions
Which fasteners are used for fixing PV hooks to timber rafters?
TCS A2 wood screws with a Torx head are used for roof hooks. Double-threaded M10 bolts (200, 250 and 300 mm) have a wood thread at one end and a metric M10 thread at the other.
What is used on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs?
The EJOT JF3-2-5,5x25 E16 self-drilling screw in A2 stainless steel. It has an EJOFAST thread and a ⌀16 mm washer with vulcanised EPDM to seal the fixing point.
How are clamps fixed along a mounting profile?
The M8 sliding T-nut in aluminium 6060 allows mid and end clamps to be fixed anywhere along the profile. Its spring ball holds it in the groove until the bolt is tightened.
