Unequal aluminium angle 60×30×2 mm is a versatile L-type profile intended for structural, finishing and assembly applications. Made from alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), it combines low self-weight with high rigidity and natural corrosion resistance — key characteristics when constructing frames, substructures, reinforcements and carrying out repairs in professional environments.

Thanks to its unequal-leg geometry (60 mm × 30 mm), the profile allows optimum adaptation to components of varying widths, for example when joining panels to load-bearing profiles or mounting covers and enclosures. The raw, non-anodised surface permits further processing — painting, anodising or powder coating — to suit the requirements of a specific project.

Dimensions and technical specification

  • Section type: unequal angle (L profile)
  • Leg A (longer): 60 mm
  • Leg B (shorter): 30 mm
  • Wall thickness T: 2 mm
  • Length: 2000 mm
  • Material: aluminium EN AW-6060 T64 (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38)
  • Surface: raw (non-anodised)
  • Weight (2 m): 0.96 kg (0.48 kg/m)

Applications

The angle profile is suitable wherever a lightweight yet strong angular connection is required. Typical applications include:

  • Substructures and mounting frames for photovoltaic installations
  • Reinforcements and stiffeners for load-bearing profiles
  • Framing for panels, covers and enclosures
  • Finishing and corner elements in technical fit-outs
  • Repairs and modifications to aluminium structures

The EN AW-6060 alloy in the T64 temper ensures good machinability — the profile can be easily cut, drilled and tapped with standard workshop tools, enabling rapid on-site assembly without the need for specialist equipment.
