Unequal aluminium angle 50×25×2 mm – L-profile, length 2000 mm
The unequal aluminium angle 50×25×2 mm is a versatile L-type profile made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). The unequal legs (50 mm and 25 mm) allow optimum adaptation to structures where one leg serves a load-bearing function and the other a mounting or finishing function. The 2000 mm length simplifies cut planning and minimises material waste on site.
Thanks to its low self-weight (0.76 kg per 2 m length, equating to just 0.38 kg/m), the profile is easy to handle and install whilst still providing adequate structural rigidity. The EN AW-6060 T64 aluminium alloy guarantees natural corrosion resistance — the profile is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use without any additional protection.
Applications
The angle section is ideal wherever a lightweight, rigid and weatherproof support structure is required — from frames and guards, through edge reinforcements, to façade finishing elements and photovoltaic installations. The unequal leg configuration offers additional design flexibility compared with symmetrical angle sections.
