Unequal aluminium angle 20×10×2 mm – perspective view of L-section profile

The unequal aluminium angle 20×10×2 mm is a versatile L-section profile made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), with a length of 2000 mm. Thanks to its unequal legs (20 mm × 10 mm), it is suitable wherever asymmetric reinforcement or edge finishing is required — in support structures, frames, enclosures, as well as for minor repairs and finishing work.

Aluminium from the 6060 series in the T64 temper combines good rigidity with low weight — just 0.30 kg per 2 m length (linear weight 0.151 kg/m). The material is naturally corrosion resistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The mill finish (non-anodised) surface allows for further processing — anodising, powder coating, or leaving without additional protection.

Applications

The 20×10 mm unequal angle is used primarily as a structural and finishing element. It is employed in the construction of lightweight frames and subframes, reinforcing edges of boards and panels, joining components at 90°, as well as a protective trim strip in technical installations. The asymmetric profile allows one leg to be discreetly concealed whilst still providing a sufficient mounting surface on the longer leg.
