Description
Unequal Aluminium Angle 40×30×3 mm – L-Profile, Length 2000 mm

The unequal aluminium angle 40×30×3 mm is a versatile L-profile designed for structural, finishing, and repair applications. Made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), it combines low weight with high rigidity and natural corrosion resistance. Thanks to its asymmetric leg geometry (40 mm × 30 mm), the profile enables the creation of asymmetric joints and frames, offering greater design flexibility compared with equal-leg angles.
A section length of 2000 mm at a weight of just 1.10 kg makes it easy to transport, cut to size, and install on site — particularly when working at height or in areas with restricted access. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows any finishing treatment: anodising, powder coating, or leaving in its natural state.

Applications
The 40×30×3 aluminium angle is suitable wherever a lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant profile with an asymmetric cross-section is required. Typical applications include support structures, frames and frameworks, edge reinforcement for boards and panels, façade finishing elements, sheet metal trims, as well as repairs and the fabrication of bespoke mounting brackets. The EN AW-6060 T64 alloy offers excellent machinability — the profile can be easily cut, drilled, and joined with bolts or rivets without risk of cracking.
