Description
Unequal Aluminium Angle 100×50×5 mm – L-Profile, Length 2000 mm

The unequal aluminium angle 100×50×5 mm is a robust L-profile made from EN AW-6060 T64 alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38), with a length of 2000 mm. Thanks to its unequal legs (100 mm and 50 mm), it enables the construction of asymmetric structural connections — ideal wherever one leg serves as a load-bearing element and the other acts as a fixing or finishing component.
The raw (non-anodised) profile offers complete freedom for further processing — it can be painted, anodised, cut, and drilled without restriction. Its low self-weight (3.92 kg per 2-metre length), combined with high rigidity, makes handling and installation straightforward, whilst aluminium's natural corrosion resistance eliminates the need for additional surface protection in most indoor applications.

Applications
The 100×50 mm unequal angle is widely used in load-bearing structures, mounting frames, enclosures, finishing elements, and repair work. The asymmetry of the legs allows the profile to be optimally matched to the installation location — the wider leg provides a larger bearing or fixing surface, whilst the narrower leg serves as a stiffening rib or connector. The profile is easy to machine — it is suitable for cutting, drilling, milling, and welding.
The EN AW-6060 alloy in the T64 temper offers good mechanical strength whilst remaining easy to machine and anodise. It is a versatile material used in construction, industrial installations, photovoltaic structures, and technical equipment components alike.
